Mobile working is an integral part of working life at ProSiebenSat.1, but working in the office is also very important to us: as a place for collaboration, creativity and innovation. Our goal is to establish a modern, hybrid working environment with the best of both worlds.
ProSiebenSat.1 is a diverse company. Therefore, there is no one-size-fits-all solution that can meet the different requirements and needs of our colleagues. For this reason, we have not developed "one" new way of working, but four possible working models: our "New Ways of Working" (NWOW). In this way, each area can develop its own individual working concept.
Hybrid working at P7S1: The four models
The four working models set the most important parameters for future collaboration. They differ in their remote share and flexibility in scheduling days.
- On Campus: In the "On Campus" model, employees are mainly on campus due to their work requirements. Individual remote days are possible in agreement with the manager.
- Traveller: Travellers work both on campus and remotely. In this model, the teams are always on site on fixed days of the week. On the other days, they have the option of working remotely
- Flexible: In the "Flexible" model, the employees work both on campus and remotely. It offers the teams more flexibility in the design of the working model and provides for one to two fixed or flexible campus days.
- Highly Remote: In the "Highly Remote" model, employees work mainly remotely. These teams are on campus less than one day per week on average, but can of course meet here for exchanges.
Mobile working within the EU at P7S1
Offering our employees the highest degree of flexibility, all colleagues of our majority-owned companies in Germany have the opportunity to work on a mobile basis from other EU countries - in 25 EU countries and Switzerland for a total of 30 working days within a 12-month period.
Our employees can currently work on a mobile basis in these countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

What our employees say about our "New Ways of Working"
Linda, Senior Manager Executive Security Affairs
„For me, mobile working means giving employees the trust to do their best on the job, whether they work on campus or elsewhere."
Yannick, Volontär bei Galileo
"Our attendance days are Tuesday and Wednesday - but of course we can also come on the other days. That way we have a good balance of communication and working together in the editorial office and working alone from the home office."
