Our work simplifies the daily life in the entire operational business of the company. We support corporate management in all financially relevant processes such as accounting, reporting and cross-departmental financial communication. We optimise governance and control processes and ensure the future alignment of the group in accordance with the chosen corporate strategy through reliable planning, needs-based budgeting and smart analyses. We work here with fresh ideas and a young, ego-free team on an exciting variety of tasks.
We always unite two allegedly opposing points of view. On the one hand, we promote and demand customer-oriented, pragmatic working methods and fixed, process-driven structures. Accounting Department
Where the accounting for the entire group is concerned, the Accounting Department is the contact and competence centre in one. The team prepares the external financial reports, works jointly with the auditors and deals with individual accounting and valuation challenges concerning the topics recognition and measurement.
Controlling
In Controlling, all figures from the group converge and are analysed in order to support the company management in strategic and trend-setting questions with meaningful recommendations. In the areas of reporting and tooling, the team is also in charge of the financial planning processes and drives company-wide projects.
Taxes
The team mainly addresses national and international tax issues and is responsible for the preparation of tax guidelines and tax returns. The primary objective is to comply with tax regulations and reduce risks in daily business.
Treasury Department
The Treasury Department manages the groups value-optimised financing and risk situation. The team primarily deals with financial transactions, hedging transactions and hedge relationships.
Corporate Finance & Capital Markets
This area focuses on the management of the groups borrowed capital. In addition, the team further develops internal rating instruments and coordinates group-wide corporate finance projects.
Investor Relations
Investor Relations is the groups voice in the direction of the financial markets. The team ensures transparent and uniform communication of the strategy and the achieved results. It is always in close contact with investors, analysts, banks and the shareholders of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.
